Equipment Capabilities

 

  • CircuitCam Software: CAD to CAM software package used for manufacturing documentation that provides specific work instructions, promoting better quality products and insuring proper revision control for all assemblies.
  • Ekra Screenprinters : Provides fully automated in-line, high speed printing or small batch printing with high precision and tremendous accuracy. These also provide post print inspection.
  • Pick and Place Machines: Europlacer Finesse rated at 10K components per hour. Can accommodate 0402's up to 2.5″ square and sized for 2″ x 2″ up to 18″ x 20″ boards, each with 198 active feeder locations. Accurately places 12.5 mil (.5mm) pitch on both QFP’s and BGA's/micro BGA’s. Highly flexible for rapid changeover.
  • Conceptronic Forced Convection Reflow Ovens: Both offer unmatched heat transfer, thermal efficiency, and are suitable for lead free soldering processes.
  • Automated Optical Inspection (AOI): Christopher and Mirtec machines verify correct component placement, absence/presence of components and SMT or Thru Hole part placements and proper component orientation.
  • Technical Devices Nu/Clean In-Line Washer : Featuring balanced power cleaning with drying capabilities.
  • Contact Systems : Semi−automatic, light−guided, through−hole placement machine that provides accurate placement of components.
  • Technical Devices Wave Soldering Machine : For both Leaded and Lead Free (ROHS) processes.
  • Metcal/Paste Soldering Stations: High−quality, trained hand soldering operators for mod work and special process requirements including BGA's, Micro BGA's and QFP's.
  • Hot Air Rework/Repair : A capability using high accuracy Conceptronic F2000.
  • ASC 3D Solder Paste Volume Measurement : For process control of ultra fine pitch printing.
  • Nicolet X−Ray System: Can accommodate boards up to 18x24, magnification 64X, with 120Kv x−ray tube.
  • Test Equipment: Including a complete test lab providing functional testing and SPEA Flying Probe testing capabilities, test development and fixture design.
  • Environmental Test Chamber : Capable of environmentally testing both temperature and humidity levels.
  • Box Build Assembly : Complete end item assembly, test and field service repair stations.
